Want to go to college, but don't like the SAT or ACT? Here's your list to work from:
A dozen schools in the Lower Hudson Valley are among 730 higher education institutions in the U.S. that don't require applicants to submit SAT or ACT scores, according to a new survey...Karen Scoropanos, a spokeswoman for the College Board, which administers the SAT, said that, despite the survey, the two tests' importance "remains high." Scoropanos said that more than half of the schools on the list are proprietary or specialized schools, such as religious or art schools.
Three guesses as to who conducted the survey, and the first two don't count. I think it's a very interesting survey, though, and potential applicants should find it useful.
